Smart Computers supports businesses, schools and county offices across western North Dakota from Dickinson, Bismarck and Beulah — networking, cybersecurity, managed IT, hardware, cloud.

The breadth was the problem. Visitors landed on a catalogue of services with no way to work out which door was theirs, and nothing on the page conveyed the depth of experience behind the work.

The brand had the same issue. It had grown alongside the company without ever being set down properly, so the look, the language and the materials didn't quite hold together across three locations.

This one is a full rebrand rather than a website refresh, and it's still underway.

The site is being rebuilt in Webflow around audience instead of service list — businesses, schools and counties each get their own route in. School district pages carry their own request forms, so a superintendent in New Town or Killdeer isn't routed through a general contact page, and the messaging leads with outcomes rather than acronyms.

Alongside it we're resetting the visual identity and the materials that sit around it, so the brand reads the same whether someone meets it on the site, in a quote, or on a wall in one of the three offices.

In progress, and deliberately so. The structure is being built to take new service lines and locations without another rebuild, and the identity work is running in step with it rather than being bolted on afterwards.

The measure that matters: whether a prospect can tell within seconds that this is a partner who has worked with organisations like theirs.
